Construction characteristics
A light assembled tower of reinforced concrete to be used for transmitting devices of mobile telephone network operators. Towers are designed in three type lines, for carrying antennas with surface area of 6 m2,10 m2 a 20 m2.
The manufacturer of the towers is Polish company, GASTEL.
Parameters and construction:
As standard, the towers are designed for heights of 20-50 m, wit grading by 5 m. On the basis of the customer's requirement, it is possible to supply other heights as well. Towers consist of two to four parts. The connections between the parts are dry, without running-in with concrete, by means of steel assembly coupling parts with high-strength bolts. The parts are manufactured of reinforced concrete using the method of centrifugation. This procedure enables to achieve proper compactness of the concrete and thus, also its high durability, accurate filling of the mould and top-quality surface. That's why there is no need to apply any more surface finishing on towers.

 Light tower - assembly

Foundations:
The foundations can be designed as monolithic ones, made of reinforced concrete, or as prefabricated pieces - in case of mobile towers.
Equipment:
The tower has an outer cable gallery and an aluminium ladder for ascending, equipped with a Sőll guard rail. At its lower part the ladder is safeguarded against entry of any unauthorised persons. Under the tower's top there are concrete balconies, covered with a porous grid, and constructions for mounting of parabolic antennas and GSM antennas. All steel constructions are heat galvanized and given a polyurethane paint. Based on the customer's requirement, the tower can be equipped with obstacle-marking and warning light on the top.
Assembly
Assembling of reinforced-concrete towers is to be realised by means of truck cranes. In order to realise the assembly it is necessary to provide a hardened access road as well as a hardened area on the site.
