View-Towers

TEPLOTECHNA Ostrava a.s. supplies light and heavy view-towers

made of reinforced concrete, steel or wood throughout the Czech Republic.

TTV-R Heavy View-Towers
The TTV-R heavy view-towers can be built up to the height of 70 m. The tower shaft is assembled of reinforced concrete centrings or made of monolithic concrete. The concrete centrings have 2,620 mm (1,970 mm) outer diameter and about 2,250 mm height. The centrings are provided with continuous grooves of 70 mm diameter on their side where vertical supports of 36 mm diameter are mounted. The supports are interconnected using threaded sleeves. The centrings are made of reinforced concrete and their surface is finished by dubbing with a felt float. The shaft can also be supported with outer reinforced concrete ribs to improve the statical properties. There is usually a service building added to the TTV-R heavy view-tower for ticket office or other purposes, for example it can contain machines and equipment if the tower is used also as a transmitter of GSM signal of mobile operators.

TTV-R Heavy View-Towers

This facility may be located either at the tower footing or it can be a standalone building (with the connecting cables laid in raceway or cable tray). The view-tower observation gallery can be accessed by the public via winding stairs routed on the outer perimeter of the tower shaft. The jacketing is depends on the architect’s design or client’s (investor’s) requirements; it can be formed only by steel railing or by steel plates or wooden shingles.

Light View-Towers
The light view-towers can be built up to the heights allowed by the statical properties of the structural materials. They are customized to the specific needs of the client (investor), based on the architect’s vision and the conditions at site. The light view-towers can be made in full of steel or wood, or using an appropriate combination of the two materials. They can be provided with one or more observation galleries which can be located on the staircase leading to the top The observation galleries can be roofed, whether fully or in a part, and jacketed with appropriate material. The view-tower can be built together with any other facility designed for any purposes connected with it. The view-tower project concept is always customized to the client’s (investor’s) vision and needs.
