Heavy assembled towers of reinforced concrete
Teplotechna Ostrava a.s. is the only supplier of heavy towers of reinforced

concrete within the market of mobile telephone network operators in the Czech Republic.
|
Construction characteristics
A heavy assembled tower of reinforced concrete to be used by transmitting devices of mobile telephone network operators.
The towers are designed as "TTV"-type ones for carrying antennas of the total area up to 150 m2 and, also as a lookout tower, "TTV-R" type.
Assembly
Assembling of reinforced-concrete towers is to be realised by means of truck cranes. Therefore, it is necessary - in order to realise the assembly - to provide a hardened access road as well as a hardened area on the site.
Foundations
Foundations are designed as monolithic bases of reinforced concrete, concrete type B20. Their dimensions depend on the tower's planned height and engineering and geological conditions of the given site.

Parameters and construction
Towers can be built up to the height of 70 m. The tower's shaft consists of centrings, made of reinforced concrete, with the outer diameter of 2,621mm (1,970 mm) and height of about 2,250 mm. The centrings have continuous grooves along their height of a diameter of 70 mm, for the placement of vertical support /diameter: 36 mm/, which is interconnected by means of threaded sleeves. The parts are made of reinforced concrete B35 and their surface is furnished by dubbing with a felt float. The shaft can also be supported with outer ribs of reinforced concrete for better static qualities.
There is usually an operational facility added to the tower, which contains technology. This facility can be placed either in the footing of the tower or, solved as a separately standing object (interconnection of technological cables is realised via a technological channel or a cable tray). In the variant of "TTV-R" - lookout tower, ascending to the observation gallery is made possible for the public by means of winding stairs, led along the outer perimeter of the tower's shaft, with variants of jacketing and shape according to the architect's design.

Equipment
The tower has inner holders for mounting cables and a steel ladder with Sőll guard rail for ascending. Inside the shaft there are steel platforms installed, which serve as landings and exits to balconies situated outside.
Entry to the shaft is via a steel door located in the first centring above the terrain. All electrical installation and lightening conductor is led through the shaft, too. There are steel balconies mounted on the tower, with an interval of 5 m, covered with a porous grid, and a construction for mounting antennas, parabolic ones for the most part. They are installed on vertical pipes placed between the individual balconies.
The outdoor balconies can be accessed from inner platforms via a steel door. All steel constructions are heat galvanized and given a polyurethane paint. Based on the customer's requirement, the tower can be equipped with obstacle-marking and warning light on the top.
